Kalliope goes back to one of our foundation females, R Slater 3/9 April's Rose. April was a gift from the late R.L. Slater of Mexia and was very near and dear to our hearts. We are super excited to be able to bring her genetic influence back to the herd with Kalliope. She will be a small framed female and we will probably use her in our breeding down program to help infuse more bloodlines and horn into our mini program.
