| We brought this guy home in a hail storm so naturally we call him Stormin' Norman! We have started saddle breaking Norman and we plan to donate him to the Tarleton Equine Assisted Therapy (TREAT) program at Tarleton State university. Treat is a horseback riding program for special needs and handicapped children in the Erath county area. We have been involved in TREAT for about six years taking our old riding steer Buck to the special events held each semester. It was a real joy for us and for the kids to have a steer there for the events. After our daughter had to sell her last riding steer to help pay for college we decided to break this guy out and donate him to the program so the kids could have their very own steer. | |
